Phone number for account creation (used only for authentication)
Display name and profile photo (optional)
Messages sent between approved contacts
Safety Card data (emergency contacts, medical info)
Device information (for security and performance only)

We do not collect:

Public profile data
Behavioral advertising data
Social media connections
Location tracking without emergency action

How We Use Information

We use information only to:

Provide messaging services
Enable Emergency/Safety Card features
Maintain account security
Improve app performance

We never sell or rent user data.

Children’s Privacy

FrenChat is designed for children under parental supervision. Parents control contacts, safety data, and access. We follow full COPPA compliance.

Data Storage & Security

Data is encrypted in transit and storage.
No public user search exists.
Only approved contacts can message.

Apple Sign In
Firebase (Google Cloud)
Apple Maps for emergency location sharing

Close accounts at any time
